SALI is an innovative peer-to-peer mentoring program to help students persist and graduate from college.

SALI mentors are trained in specific techniques involving interpersonal communication, academic coaching, conflict resolution, financial matters, and positive work habits. They take this training and work to coach their Freshman peers on their college campus, helping them to overcome obstacles that may come their way. Through early intervention, we as a coalition, hope to reduce drop-out rates among low-income and first-generation students.
